Shortly after graduating high school in 2003, Brian joined the US Army where he served four years in the 82nd Airborne Division as an airborne infantryman with two combat deployments to Iraq while rising to the rank of sergeant. He was honorably discharged and returned home to utilize the GI Bill to earn his Bachelor's of Science in Marketing at York College of Pennsylvania. In 2012, Brian moved to Asia where he remained for the following three years to teach English and work for a charity organization. The extreme poverty he witnessed during his time in Asia and the Middle East inspired him to create Bicycle Around America--a solo and unsupported, 12,000 mile bicycle ride around the perimeter of the USA for charity.

 

Brian currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area as an independent sales representative, life coach, and an international adventure tour guide.
